About
WDM Cambridge are a group of committed local people who campaign to tackle the root causes of global poverty and injustice. We are part of the World Development Movement, a democratic movement in the UK which campaigns in solidarity with people in the global South. We meet regularly on the third Wednesday of every month and welcome new members.

Bradford Climate Chains cyclists stayed in Cambridge on 3 December hosted by Cambridge WDM and Castle Street Methodists Church. Then on Thursday morning they celebrated lead cyclist Mary Keynes’s 80th Birthday with a cake cutting event in Kings Parade by the new Golden Clock, ticking away the carbon hours. Several Cambridge WDM cyclists joined in as the group cycled off to London on the last leg of their 200 mile journey, to meet up with the WAVE Climate Change march on Saturday 5 December
